Many SYRIZA ministers were citing the constitution ten days before asking the parliament for a vote of confidence, saying it is possible to rule without a majority of 151 votes, Centrists’ Union leader Vassilis Leventis said on Tuesday, addressing the parliament.
“Imagine Greece having a prime minister that only 120 members of parliament support. This is pure insanity,” he asserted.
About the Prespes Agreement, Leventis accused the government that it is rebranding the mistakes of the past and calling them a national stance, and stated that “(Prime Minister) Alexis Tsipras is aware that the Greek people are not behind him, otherwise we would have gone to a referendum.”
Finally, Leventis said that “this parliament needs to conclude its term as soon as possible”.
