Nobody can question the treaty of Lausanne without consequences, President Prokopis Pavlopoulos said on Thursday during a meeting with representatives of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (ΑΗΕΡΑ) at the Presidential Mansion.
“Nobody can question the Lausanne Treaty without consequences, either directly or indirectly,” he said and reiterated his point that Greece secures not only its own borders but also the borders of the European Union.
“Therefore Greece must be supported to make it clear to everyone that these borders are fully respected, and as a result the Lausanne Treaty is fully respected,” he added.
